Can Tatkal Tickets be Cancelled?

Tatkal tickets are mostly booked for last-minute journeys or short-notice journeys. Once you avail of the confirmed tatkal ticket you get no refund if you cancel the ticket. However, there are chances of getting a refund from the Indian Railways if you cancel out the ticket only under the below-given circumstances. If the train is diverted to any other route due to any other reasons and if you are not agreed with it. If your boarding station or destination or even both of them is not covered, you get a full refund.
